1. What music moves you? Just about anything with a good beat. Lately I've been listening to The Dead Weather and Matt & Kim a lot. Dramarama touches my heart.
2. What's the best thing about living in Atlanta? Public transportation. Fun things to do like going to the aquarium, the zoo, or any of the museums.
3. How are you spending the holidays this year? Tomorrow, we're baking cookies for Santa, Christmas morning, we're opening presents and then driving to Chattanooga to have Christmas dinner with Scott's Nana, Aunt Millie, Uncle Peter and Scott's cousin Nate.
4. What's the most important thing you've learned from being a parent? How to love more than I thought my heart could. Patience. Tolerance. Acceptance. Confidence.
5. Favorite foods?
naught's home made macaroni and cheese, my mother's stacked enchiladas and chimichangas, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, home made bread, good Chinese food, authentic Mexican food, mashed potatoes, pecan pie, and pralines. Avocadoes. A well-made BLT, bread pudding, flan.

1. What is the one habit you have that you feel gets in the way of your happiness? My smoking. I have asthma and should know better. I know it's holding me back. I'm trying (again, again, again...) to quit.
2. What 80's cartoon character would play you in the animated story of your life? Uhm. I have no idea. I suppose He-Man's Teila because I loved her so much when I was a girl. :)
3. If you could change anything about your life, what would it be? I'd get rid of my emotional health problems.
4. What is your most defining characteristic? My passion, I think.
5. What are you most grateful for? My family, my friends and loved ones. The support and encouragement they all give me.

Leave me a comment saying "Resistance is Futile." I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can satisfy my curiosity. Update your journal with the answers to the questions. Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions. My questions from naught are ( here )

I wrote this on FB on Wednesday, December 9. I know I've really been neglecting LJ lately, but I wanted to post this here so those who aren't also on Facebook could know what I've been going through these last couple weeks. I'll post something of a followup-type nature soon, I imagine.
I don't really know where to begin, or end, or anything. I guess I'll just write until I think I've got it covered. ( this is really long... )
